Pet Dermatology and Eye Care at Bevlab Animal Hospital
Like humans, pets can suffer from skin problems too. And when your pet is suffering from an allergic reaction, ear infection, or other skin problem, our veterinarians are here to help find relief.
There are many skin conditions that affect dogs and cats. Common veterinary dermatology issues we treat include:
- Skin infections
- Ear infections
- Flea, tick, mite, and other parasites
- Excessive itching
- Dander and scaly skin
- Greasy skin
- Nail diseases
- Autoimmune and infectious diseases
Dealing with chronic skin conditions can be a frustrating experience. Many skin conditions appear to be similar and can be hard to self-diagnose, which is why seeking professional veterinary care is important. Our veterinarians can accurately identify your pet’s skin ailment in our in-house laboratory and provide a treatment plan that is right for them.
There are a number of health issues and diseases that can affect your pet’s eye health. Injuries, glaucoma, cherry eye, dry eye, retinal disease, cataracts and even ulcers are just some of the common eye conditions your dog or cat may face throughout their lives. We are able to treat many of the above health issues, and in cases where more advanced treatment is required, we can refer your pet to a veterinary ophthalmologist.
